Successful Student Rates Online AI Degrees for 2021

By

Artificial intelligence (AI) is likely to be responsible for some of the most disruptive and important innovations of this century. AI is critical in a number of emerging industries, including call centers and customer support, self-driving cars, robotic personal assistants, home management, industrial and commercial interests and even automated disease diagnosis. As AI applications broaden, the demand for employees educated to work with AI is expected to soar, creating nearly limitless opportunities for professionals to work in AI research and development.

Increasingly, colleges around the country are adding AI programs to their available educational products. These programs are important. Research conducted by McKinsey found that in about 60 percent of occupations, at least one-third of the constituent activities could be automated by AI and other technologies, implying substantial workplace transformations and changes for all workers. In other words, workers whose jobs are being replaced by AI need to seek new careers…and working in AI is a good move for the future of work.
